Senior ERP Solutions Consultant

Assess enterprise logistics processes, define functional architecture and implement SAP S/4HANA Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Transportation Management (TM) solutions for the employer's consulting clients. Bridge warehouse and transportation requirements and ERP system configuration, interfaces, migration, transactional controls and production support across the implementation lifecycle.

Work at various unanticipated client locations throughout the United States. Full-time, on-site presence at assigned client worksites is required. Travel to, and relocation among, client worksites may be required as assignments change. Reporting and recruitment headquarters: 3917 Broadway Blvd, Unit B, Kansas City, MO 64111. Headquarters is not the primary worksite. No routine remote-work arrangement is offered.

• Business process and requirements analysis (about 25% of time): facilitate requirements workshops; map inbound, outbound, warehouse-to-ship and order-to-delivery workflows; establish fit-gap findings, business process designs, enterprise master-data relationships and control requirements; document functional decisions and acceptance criteria.
• SAP functional architecture and configuration (about 30%): design and configure SAP ECC and S/4HANA warehouse and transportation processes and their integration points, including warehouse process types, storage control, waves, freight unit building, planning, carrier selection, tendering and freight settlement; prepare configuration workbooks, design specifications, testable functional requirements, organizational and master-data rules and business transaction validation criteria.
• Interfaces and cross-system integration (about 20%): define functional mappings, message and interface specifications and error-handling requirements; collaborate with developers on IDocs, APIs, middleware and system extensions; analyze exceptions involving master data, posting logic and transaction consistency across SD, MM, EWM and TM.
• Migration, testing and release verification (about 15%): define source-to-target mappings, transformation and reconciliation controls; verify data conversion and scenario traceability; coordinate integration testing, UAT, defect triage and cutover validation.
• Documentation and production stabilization (about 10%): maintain requirements traceability, functional design documents, test results, configuration history and operational support guides; investigate live transactional defects and support controlled resolution.

• Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a directly related field.
• At least three (3) years of professional ERP functional implementation, business systems analysis or enterprise application consulting experience involving documented business-process analysis, ERP configuration, cross-module integration, requirements documentation, and system integration and user acceptance testing.
• Experience in SAP ECC or S/4HANA functional implementation in Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) or Transportation Management (TM).

Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a directly related field.

At least three (3) years of professional ERP functional implementation, business systems analysis or enterprise application consulting experience involving documented business-process analysis, ERP configuration, cross-module integration, requirements documentation, and system integration and user acceptance testing, including SAP ECC or S/4HANA functional implementation in EWM or TM.
