Applicant Privacy Notice

This notice explains what happens to the information you submit when you apply for a position with Tech Talent Connect LLC or join our talent network.

What we collect

Your name, email, phone number, city and state, an optional LinkedIn profile link, your resume, and anything else you choose to tell us in the application. We do not ask for your Social Security number, date of birth, passport or visa documents when you apply.

Why we collect it

• To evaluate your qualifications for the position you applied for, and, if you joined our talent network, for future positions that match your background.
• To contact you about interviews and next steps.
• To keep the records of recruitment and hiring activity that federal and state laws require employers to keep. For certain positions this includes recordkeeping connected with labor certification (PERM) recruitment.

Who sees it

Authorized Tech Talent Connect staff involved in recruiting and human resources, and our attorneys where recruitment records are reviewed for legal compliance. We will not present your resume to a client without first discussing the opportunity with you.

How long we keep it

Application records are kept for as long as the law requires. Records for some positions must be retained for at least five years, and longer if they are subject to an audit, investigation or legal hold.

Your choices

You can ask us to correct your information or withdraw your application by contacting us. Some records must be kept even after you withdraw, where the law requires it.
