RISE with SAP and GROW with SAP bundle software, infrastructure and services into one subscription. We help you understand what is in the bundle, what is still your job, and how to get from your current system to the new one.
Two offers, two kinds of customer
RISE with SAP is aimed at companies moving an existing SAP landscape to the cloud. At its centre is SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition: your own S/4HANA system, hosted on a hyperscaler and technically managed by SAP, with room for the extensions and industry functionality a large company needs.
GROW with SAP is aimed at companies that want to start fresh on SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition: a shared, standardised system that SAP upgrades for everyone twice a year. It suits midsize businesses and subsidiaries that can run close to standard.
Both bundles come with more than the ERP system: SAP Business Technology Platform credits, process mining and lifecycle tools, and learning content. Much of that goes unused because nobody on the project owns it. Part of our job is making sure it gets used.
What we do
- Responsibility review
- RISE moves infrastructure and technical operations to SAP, but application management, security roles, testing, data and most functional work stay with you. We map the RACI against your current support model so nothing falls between the two.
- Transition roadmap
- Sequencing of the technical move, the S/4HANA conversion and the process changes. Some customers lift ECC first and convert later; others do it in one step. The 2027 maintenance date shapes the choice.
- Technical migration
- System copies, database migration to HANA, conversion runs, interface repointing, connectivity through the Cloud Connector and the cutover itself, coordinated with SAP's enterprise cloud services team.
- Clean core governance
- An extension policy based on SAP's clean core levels, ATC checks in the development pipeline, and a plan for retiring modifications over time.
- Included tools
- SAP Signavio process insights, SAP Cloud ALM, the BTP credits and SAP Learning Hub, set up and put to work in the project rather than left on the order form.
- GROW with SAP projects
- Public cloud implementations with fit-to-standard, key user extensibility, integration through APIs and the discipline that a twice-yearly upgrade cycle demands.
RISE and GROW questions
Do you sell RISE or GROW subscriptions?
No. We are independent of SAP and do not resell licences. That lets us give you a straight view of what the subscription covers and what it does not.
What happens to our existing custom code under RISE?
Private Cloud Edition allows classic extensions, so most code can move. We still recommend analysing it, retiring what is unused and moving new development to clean extension methods so upgrades stay manageable.
