SAP Finance and Controlling
Finance is where every other module ends up. We design and run SAP Finance and Controlling so that the numbers reconcile, the close gets shorter, and the people who analyse the business can trust what they see.
One journal, fewer reconciliations
In S/4HANA, financial accounting, controlling, asset accounting and the material ledger write to a single line-item table, the Universal Journal. That removes whole categories of reconciliation work between FI and CO and lets margin analysis run on the same postings as the ledger. It also means design decisions in finance, such as the ledger and currency setup, the chart of accounts and the profit centre structure, touch every logistics process.
Our finance consultants work closely with the logistics teams for that reason. A pricing condition in SD or a valuation class in MM is a finance decision as much as a sales or procurement one.
